Full-Stack software engineer Intern

Location: Remote
Role Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to help build and ship customer-facing features across our healthcare products. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex workflows into clean, fast user experiences and is comfortable working across the stack. You will primarily contribute to the front-end (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, data-heavy dashboards and grids) while gaining hands-on exposure to AWS, authentication/security (e.g., Cognito and multi-factor authentication), and production deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and enhance front-end UI using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, focusing on performance, usability, and clean component design.
  • Implement data-heavy experiences using AG Grid (filtering, sorting, grouping, pinned columns, exporting, and custom cell renderers).
  • Translate product requirements into intuitive user flows, pages, and dashboards; iterate quickly based on feedback.
  • Integrate the UI with back-end APIs and data services; implement robust loading states, error handling, and edge-case behavior.
  • Support secure authentication and access patterns (e.g., AWS Cognito, role-based access, and multi-factor authentication).
  • Contribute to deployment and operational readiness on AWS (basic familiarity with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and logging/monitoring is a plus).
  • Work within containerized/dev workflows (e.g., Docker) and collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD and environment consistency.
  • Write maintainable, testable code; participate in code reviews; and document implementation details and decisions.
  • Qualifications:

    - Proficiency in AWS cloud computing services.
    - Strong programming skills in Python. - Experience with Pinecone or similar vector databases.
    - Knowledge of generative AI models and techniques.
    - Solid research background and analytical skills.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    - Strong integrity and commitment to ethical work practices.
    - Ability to deconstruct complex problems and execute tasks in a timely manner.
